Istiqlal Mini Olympics V

Assalamu’alaikum brothers & sisters of Masjid Istiqlal,

In the spirit of making good habit of regular exercise as well as capitalizing the benefit of having beautiful sport court, you’re invited to compete in the fifth Istiqlal Mini Olympics (IMO5) at masjid complex on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8am to 9pm.

Three sports will be available to play in the community games for this round with fee:

  • Volleyball (female $10/team & male $30/team).⁠

  • Futsal (kids, $10/team)

  • Futsal (adult & youth, $10/team)

  • Pickleball (female & male, $10/each double team)

Please zelle your registration fee to treasurer@iamchouston.org with note “IMO5” + your team name.

Registration is now open but will be closed very soon once we hit the maximum available spots. Visit http://bit.ly/miniolympicsspring2026 to register. Spots are available based on first come first serve basis. Participants will be notified for wait list status if registered after maximum spot has been reached.

Food & beverage will be available to purchase from Istiqlal vendors.

Games schedule as follows:

  • ⁠8am-12pm: Pickelball (2 person in each team)

  • 1-5pm: Kids and Adult Futsal

  • 11am-9pm: Volleyball
